This authentic hanten is made by Miyata Orimono, a company in business since 1913 in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture!
The designs are based on town use and street style, with boxy silhouettes and oversized sizes that are in vogue at the moment!
It is made of a warm padded material, and although it is voluminous, it is light and soft to wear, making it the perfect outerwear for the middle of winter.
The outer fabric is made of Chikugo woven fabric "BLACK TSUMUGI".
The plain weave fabric will develop a unique look the more you wear it.
