The new release from the hottest label right now, Vortex Records, has been unearthed by label owner Hayassen, who has unearthed two superb covers of Sade, previously unreleased recordings secretly recorded by Dean Fraser, one of Jamaica's leading saxophonists and renowned producer/arranger, who has been active since the 70s. The album also features Nadine Sutherland, a leading Jamaican female singer who has been active since the 80s.
The cover of "Smooth Operator" features a vocal performance that surpasses Sade's and is a must-listen for an adult finish that fits perfectly with Dean Fraser's jazzy arrangement.
