■FUNSET OF ART■ When I was a teenager, all the clothes I wore with love were second-hand. I would repair worn-out denim that was frayed or had holes, and the marks from those clumsy repairs accumulated as a unique character. At some point, I started making my own clothes, and when I first started, I made jeans by copying others, but the stitching was uneven and the pattern was ugly, but for some reason I liked them. The word "tattered" came to mind. The clothes I want to wear are not luxurious, nor are they simply tattered, but clothes that make you want to wear them with love. To me, luxury is to repair and continue to wear them over and over again. A wardrobe that is uniquely mine. Repairing and reusing is a feeling that Japanese people have had since ancient times. For example, old fabrics that have been repaired and reused over and over, like sashiko, have an indescribable deep flavor, and that is where value is born. The culture of repairing and reusing is deeply rooted in us. We have the sensibility to find beauty in them. Clothes that are comfortable and fit right from the moment you put them on. We want you to enjoy the expressions that come from damage and repairs that are almost natural. The "FUNSET OF ART" collection is created by remembering those days and putting in effort to cultivate new sensibilities.
