story
Going back about 24 years, I discovered hip-hop and wanted to become a DJ, so I took out a loan to buy a set of turntables from Mr. Yano at a record shop in the basement of Seikatsu Souko. At that time, I remembered buying a RAWKUS RECORD college tee at a clothing store I often went to at the time, which had a similar color pattern, and I sampled the emotional feeling of that time in a hip-hop manner.
It turned out to have a nice earthy, rustic atmosphere.
I really like items that have a strong American casual vibe,
I also hope to be able to create clothes and music using these items.

■SAMUEL■ SAMUEL was launched in 2001. Created by Scha Dara Parr members ANI and Naohirock (IIIIINOUT), the brand focuses on illustrations, photo collages, and graphics with old-school motifs. ANI's unique sense of humor shines through in his sampling of hip-hop and music culture. Production was suspended for a while, but the brand was updated and restarted in 2024, with much awaited results.
