Known in the vintage community as memorial pants, these are pants with random, catchy illustrations on them.
The HERENCIA PROJECT has used public domain materials whose copyrights have already expired, with some modifications and collages to bring them back to life in the modern day.
The illustrations used are all somewhat surreal and have a mysterious worldview.
I hope you enjoy this worldview.
Not only the illustrations but also the pants are full of attention to detail.
Everything from the patterns, sewing, silkscreen printing, painting, and magnetic button production is done by Mr. Fukunaga.
The pants are inspired by vintage American military work pants, with a town added to the crotch area and reinforced fabric, as seen in pants from the 1900s.
The fabric is a natural twill fabric of about 10 ounces.
By focusing on a pair of pants in detail, we were able to create pants that are like works of art.
